1850 Census of Carmel, "Edmund" 37, with Vincent Barrett. Vincent
Barrett-R:2190 bequeathed Edward Barrett four acres of land in his will of 09
Jun 1862 (3).
Edward Barrett of the Town of Carmel signed his will 27 Mar 1885. He mentions
niece Amanda J. Horton- RIN:2897 (daughter of cousin Vincent), Martin
(Mortimer?) A. Barrett-RIN:2190 and Edith A. Barrett-RIN:2191 (grandchildren of
brother Obed Barrett), Orlando V. Barrett-RIN:2904, Edward Barrett-RIN:2630 and
Lester Eugene Barrett-RIN:2906 (children of cousin Vincent), Edward
Ferris-RIN:3507 (grandson of brother Laban), son of Alonzo Ferris-RIN:2194,
Lucinda McDonald-RIN:2071 (daughter of brother Laban Barrett), and Boyd K.
Barrett-RIN:2047 (son of brother of Obed Barrett), legatee and executor (2). The
will was probated 20 Jul 1885.

1860 Census, Kent, Putnam, p. 22, 162-164, Stephen Ruscoe 80, b. NY, with
William 22 day labor & Sarah 20, who were married within the year, & Caroline 2
months, next door to Elvin Mead 42, Deborah 38, Esther 18, Emily 10. On other
side of Mead's is Isaac Requa 53, Mary 53 (second wife, or misreading of
"Nancy?"), Isaac 10 and Peter 13. On other side of Isaac is Samuel Requa 42,

Stephen Ressequie of the Town of Kent signed his will 31 Oct 1862. He mentions
daughter Deborah Mead (wife of Elvin) and sons Samuel and William. Executors
are Thomas J. Brevoort and Albert G. Travis. The will was probated 15 Dec 1863
(1).
