Whitney, Isaac (b. 31 DEC 1803, d. ?)
Note: ! Isaac Whitney was born at Franklin, now Patterson, NY. He was a farmer.
He was married to Martha Youry at the Reformed Church by Rev. James Demarest. He
settled 1 January 1828 at Spring Valley, NY, where they were living in 1874,
near the railway station, without children.

Baptist, to Daniel Gay. They lived at Southeast in 1835; then in Patterson til
1846; in Southeast again, til 1851; and finally moved to Candor (Jenksville
post-office) NY, where they were dwelling in Dec 1874.
ERRMSG: Mother more than 50 years of age at birth of child, Lillian Gay.
Because Lillian is so much older than her "sister", Mary Etta Gay, she is
probably a grandchild of Mary Whitney Gay. She is likely the daughter of
William Henry Harrison Gay and his wife, Philena Catharine Cole, who were
married on 13 feb 1867.

turns sixteen Apr 28, 1892. Rejected.
1897, 20 April, General Affidavit from Laura W. Brown age 50 and Laura J.
Wilson age 20 of 26 Leonard St., Norwalk, CT, "say they have known Lavina and
Lottie for about the last 12 years, and Mrs. Lottie M. Hornybrook has been
married about three years next June coming."
1916, 15 Sep, Application for Reimbursement, Lottie Hornibrook says that
Lavina's $165 insurance policy from John Hancock was paid to her to be used in
payment of claims. Beneficiaries were Levi Ballard and Coleman Ballard, her
brothers.
1916, Nov 1, Letter regarding her mother's pension, Certificate 378,044 says
that Lottie is then of 63 Harbor Street, Stamford, CT. (Unable to find her at
this address in 1920 Stamford Census, not in 1920 Soundex under any spelling
of Hornibrook, but could be under Hornbeck or something).
