Barrett, Matilda (b. ABT 1815, d. ABT 1841)

Note: !1829: Asher Gilbert is appointed guardian since she is under 21 at the death of
her father. She and Jeremiah Light were probably married after 1829, since she
is named as Matilda BARRETT in Surrogate Court records of her father's estate.
Called "Melissa" in Betty Behr's records of her marriage to Night Light, as
first wife.
Could have divorced, but most probably died about March 1841 when son Harvey E.
Light was born. Husband had another son in 1842 by his 2nd wife.
