HISTORY of PUTNAM states Henry is son of Samuel and grandson of John (on his
mother's side!).
Henry Barrett was educated at the public schools.
Age 21 - bought farm in Farmers Mills
Age 46 - removed to Peekskill, was a merchant, poormaster, and postmaster at
Mahopac Falls
1884 - removed to Bedford
ERRMSG: Henry Smith was 73 years old when he married last wife, Avis Hill.
"A daughter, Jemima, another of John and Sarah's twelve children, married
Samuel Barrett and they (both buried here) were the parents of the late Henry
Barrett, who died in 1936 at Mahopac Falls at the age of 96 years" (3).
