Obit. from The News Times of Danbury, Ct.: HAZEL B. HEADY: Hazel B. Heady,
88, a Brewster, NY resident for 56 years, died Wednesday at Putnam Hospital
Center in Carmel, NY after a short illness. She was the wife of the late
Solomon B. Heady and lived on Route 124, Brewster. Mrs. Heady was born 12 Dec.
1904 in Brewster, NY, a daughter of Oscar Bailey and Ester P. Haviland. She
was a graduate of Brewster High School and New Paltz Normal School in New
Paltz, NY. She was a member of the Brewster Presbyterian Church. She is
survived by three sons, Allen B. Heady of Ft. Pierce, Fla. and Leon L. Heady
and Walter O. Heady both of Brewster, NY; one sister, Mariam B. Williams of
Sacramento, Calif., nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Halstead Union Cemetery, Kent Cliffs,
NY.
