"Orange Blossoms"
--------
Carpenter-Moger
.
Among Mount Kisco social events of the present season, none is more noteworthy, nor, at the same time, was any consumated so quietly and unostentaciously, as the marriage of Mr. Francis M. Carpenter—Supervisor of the Town of New Castle, and a
Republican prominent throughout the county— and Mrs. Catherine Moger, at the residence of the latter, in this village, on Thursday afternoon at 6 o'clock.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. W. Terbush, of the M. E. Church, in the presence of a company numbering very few besides the relatives of the contracting parties. After refreshments, Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter departed for an extended trip to
Washington and the South.
This union brings together a couple whom our village has no more popular lady and gentleman. A host of friends, confined neither to Mount Kisco nor to the towns of New Castle and Bedford, would express to Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter their heartiest, most
sincere congradulations.
